Can somebody please tell me how to update Eclipse on Ubuntu 10.10? The software center says there is no update but I cannot graphically edit xml's for android without installing it because it says "LayoutLib is too recent. Update your tool!"

Don't use Software Center to install/update Eclipse. Go to the
eclipse.org website and download directly from there. Installing
Eclipse is just a matter of unzipping the distribution file.

See the Linux + Eclipse users sticky post at the top of this fourm on
the eclipse.org site.
