Hi,

I upgraded from Helios Classic to Indigo IDE for JEE Developers. In both cases, I am using that Mac OS 64bit version on OS 10.6.8. Helios ran just fine but Indigo will hang to the point that the OS says that the application is not responding. It can last up to 5 minutes. Sometimes is all I have to is expand a project in the explorer. So, as it stands the IDE is nearly totally unusable and I have no idea where to begin to look for the cause. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Try generating a thread dump during the time when Eclipse is hung. See
http://wiki.eclipse.org/How_to_report_a_deadlock
