Given the recent successful review of the project proposal, presumably EGit
will move to Eclipse.org under the EPL. Is there a timeline for this?
Secondly, what's the status of JGit with its BSD-licensing requirements? Did
the review cover the use of EDL for JGit?

Well, EGit is already under the EPL, so its more about getting the
project provisioned than anything.
I don't have a contributor agreement signed with the foundation yet.
I'm working on it with my employer. That must be completed before I can
ask the webmaster to provision the project; as the project lead I need
to have the legal side dealt with before I can actually become the
project lead. :-)

No, it mentioned it, but we need to ask the board for approval to use
the EDL. I tried to post a message to technology-pmc about it yesterday
but I think it hit the round-file rather than a human. :-(
