Refreshing duplicate resources error when initializing compare editor [message #73911] Tue, 24 June 2008 04:09

Hi,

maybe someone can help me, I don't find anything when I google this
subject.

I'm working with Eclipse PDT 1.0.2 and I have 16 projects, which are
independent, no project references between the projects are defined.

Each application has 2 projects, one is the live system, the other one the
dev system. But still there are no dependencies or references.

It often happens, that when I want to compare the "live" and the "dev"
system, that I get a refresh error from the compare editor, that another
project could not be refreshed. I try to explain: I want to compare "A"
and "B", but I get a refresh error from "C".

And the strange thing is, that the files or directories, that are
"missing" in "C" where never part of the "C" project and where never in
the file system of the "C" path.

The other strange thing is, that during initialization of the compare
editor I get the message "Refreshing duplicate resource...". But why
"duplicate resource"? I can't find anything about that in the preferences
or in the internet.

Does anyone have a suggestion for me?

Thx, Martin
