Watching Bugzilla Traffic [message #72950] |

I'm wondering if there's a recommended way to watch Bugzilla traffic for
the TPTP components.
Jeff McAffer occasionally sends instructions to the equinox-dev list
giving the names of bugzilla users to 'watch', e.g.
'equinox.bundles-inbox@eclipse.org',
'equinox.framework-inbox@eclipse.org'. (I assume that these are the
Bugzilla component owners for those components.)
This is admittedly a bit easier for Equinox because it has four
components while TPTP has 70+, but even so it would be useful (to me, at
least) to have someone post the names of the TPTP component owners so
interested users could 'watch' the ones they were interested in.
Thoughts?
Mike.

Hi Michael,
TPTP does not use aliases for default defect ownership like Equinox.
Although this is a good idea for monitoring defect activity at the component
level (currently unsupported in Bugzilla - only user monitoring), I am not
sure it is scalable for 70+ components. I will raise the issue on our next
call.
