Creation of Git Repository while creating the project [message #704653] Thu, 28 July 2011 18:57

Hi,

I tried searching for this but couldn't find sth related.

I created a project (java/c++ whatever) in my workspace (which created a folder say prj) and when I created a Git repository, it refactored my project to a different location so the .git and my project folder were in the same folder(which has the same name prj). So there is a folder prj (not in my workspace) which has .git and prj

This makes sense. But I was wondering if there was a way to create a Git repository while creating the project (java/c++ whatever) so my project folder created in the workspace already has a .git folder and it doesn't have to land at a different location.

I hope I made myself clear.

Thanks,
pH
