How can I run xtext from a webservice? [message #703603] Wed, 27 July 2011 14:36 Go to next message

I really like the Eclipse IDE for Xtext where I can create my DSL cleanly.
But I don't care for running a full eclipse client to run my language.

Ideally, I'd like to have a web based page (RAP-like) with an editor view that I can start typing in. Biggest headache, I imagine, is breaking off content assist libraries from eclipse to the standalone app.
Anyone try something like this?

Hi,

guess bringing the frontend of xtext to web is not possible.
you can still use the backend.

for frontend maybe http://concrete-editor.org/ is a look worth (not related to Xtext at all)
