Adding actions to properties view [message #702627] Tue, 26 July 2011 11:38 Go to next message

Hello,

I'm trying to use the standard properties viewer in Eclipse, but was hoping to add a few buttons at the top (right above the key value grid). I tried to extend PropertySheetPage and my getAdapter method, I added an if-statement to check for IPropertySheetPage.

However, I noticed that this if-statement is never hit. Consequently I'm having some trouble making progress. Is this the right approach? I'm not interested in building a new viewer from scratch, so if it's possible to leverage the existing viewer, that would be great.

Would appreciate any advice. Thanks!
