I am doing some C++ coding on Linux. How can I force the linker to seek libraries only in the directory I want it to use? I looked in Project Properties under "Paths and Symbols->Library Paths," but it's blank. It seems to be defaulting to /usr/lib no matter what I do or don't put in as a library path, yet I cannot find where it is storing /usr/lib as a default. Thanks in advance for any education you can give me about this.
