The company I work in develops a few plug-ins for the Eclipse project.
Some of them will be included in an eclipse-based commercial project (Such
as the ones in http://www.eclipse.org/community/commercialplugins.php).
I'd like to know what was the testing approach of these kind of products
or what you think it should. On one hand, we can be responsible only for
plug-ins we developed, but on the other if we sell it and fully support
it, theoretically we should be responsible all of it (Even if there's a
bug in the java perspective which we didn't develop for example).
I'd appreciate if you can give any information/tips/reference to articles
from your own experience.
