Hello,
I\'m new to eclipse, it was advised to me by a friend. I\'ve looked around
a bit on the site
(eclipse.org), but what I cannot find is wether eclipse is a good IDE for
developing GUI\'s in Java
(for starters). Until now I used Sun\'s Forte (in Windows) but I haven\'t
found a good alternative for
Linux. I\'m a beginner, so I\'ll need a lot from any help-functions in the
IDE.
Can anyone help me?
Thanx in advance!

Hi,
Eclipse offers nothing for GUI-Development out-of-the-box.
There may be 3rd party pluginbs for that, but I don't know if they are
any good.
So what's wrong with Forte/Netbeans on Linux?
