Hi,

I have a question concerning cruisecontrol configuration for the build of
the GMF plugins which we have duplicated for our own build.
In the cruisecontrol configuration file config.xml, found in
org.eclipse.gmf.releng.builder/scripts, there exist CC projects "checkout"
and "checkout.maintenance" on their own. I don't understand why this is
necessary. Can anybody explain this to me?
I would expect that "nightly" and "maintenance" CC projects have their own
modificationsets included that 1) ensure that the build takes place after
changes and 2) supply CC with information about changes in the repository.

Actually, I have only the need for two different kinds of build:
continuous and nightly. Maybe this makes the whole thing simpler.

Can anybody tell me if I'm wrong somewhere or what would be the problem in
the suggested approach?

Thanks in advance,
Tim
