hello,
I have been using Wiki, and not very successfully, in regards to
formatting, there are a couple of places where my comments are repeated,
or messed up, and I would like to either 1) delete my repeated comment,
or 2) reformat my comment so people can read it, 3) do both 1 and 2.
When I click edit, it prompts for password,
So.... anyone point me to where or what do I need to do to get
registered so I can edit my comments on the Wiki BIRT site?
Thanks for any help here!

To share, you can use html tags currently on the birt wiki site to
format comments and this works great.

Yes, i went through the same frustration trying to figure this out.
It would be nice if there was a note to users on the Wiki site about this.
Preferably right by the link to create an entry. The Wiki editing link is
confusing since it implies you should use Wiki editing commands.
It would also be nice to be able to edit/delete your own post when coming in
later with a new session.

Mike, Marko
We are preparing to restructure the Wiki pages.
Would you prefer to have a seperate page that comments link to that you can
use Wiki markup?
Thanks for your comments.
Thanks

Personally i'm happy to use straight HTML for markup, but i could go either
way, as long as it is clearly documented how the message should be marked
up.
Also it would be nice to have the ability edit/delete your own post.
Thanks Jason.

Html markup is fine, for me it was just figuring out that html mark up
was what I needed to use. I noticed you have a sandbox page with nothing
on it, perhaps you set up a fake BPS with also a small note about how to
write comments, such as 'we use HTML tags, for mark up and editiing'
this would give us new wiki users a chance to try things out before we
post to the official bps comment pages.
