Copying files during a plugin install [message #68378] Mon, 09 June 2003 16:09

I would like to copy some files from a website to the local file system at
the same time that I install a plug-in with the Install/Update Manger.
These files have nothing to do with eclipse and should not be in the
eclipse workspace. I want to copy them to a local repository and,
ideally, pass the location to my plug-in (although this is not critical,
my user can browse to the file location if need be). Is there some
mechanism to take care of this? And if so, what is it?
