Display editor within node [message #674264] Thu, 26 May 2011 06:53

Hi,

I created two editors, whereas the nodes of the first editor are the root elements for the second editor. I easily got diagram partitioning to work, such that the respective elements will be opened in the second editor when double-clicking them in the first editor.

Since this works, I wonder if it is possible to not open the second editor, but just display its canvas content inside the respective node of the first editor. So I'd like to embed an editor into a node.

For reasons of reusability, I can't merge the two editors which would be easy. The editors have to remain separated and I just want to display the canvas (no palette or mouse interaction and so on).

Is this possible at all? Somebody ever did something similar with GMF or can give hints for the custom code to integrate?

Thanks in advance...
