I have done this before and worked but forgot how and which version, i did on...can any one tell me what version of eclipse will be better to compile andriod and scala i think its helios or ganymede.... any help will appreciate...and i imagine if i will be able to compile andiod then i will be able to compile java as well...

I would start with the Eclipse IDE for Java Developers package (Helios)
from the main downloads page, then install the Android tools (ADT) and
the Scala IDE plugins (http://www.scala-ide.org/)
