I have downloaded the appropriate ajdt
file(ajdt_1.3.2_for_eclipse_3.1.zip) and unzipped it under eclipse
 installation directory.
As per the readme, the AJDT must be enabled the next time I start eclipse.
But even after several restarts, AJDT is not avialble on my eclipse. Can
 someone please help?

Firstly, please double check you're using Eclipse 3.1.2 (or 3.1.1).
Then check that AJDT was unzipped at the right level - from the
directory containing the eclipse executable, go into the plugins
directory, and make sure there is a JAR file called
 org.eclipse.ajdt.core_1.3.2.20060804095248.jar.

Then go to Help > Software Updates > Manage Configuration...
and look for the AspectJ Development Tools feature, and see if that
 indicates any problem.

A quick way to see if AJDT is enabled is to look for the "AJ" icon on
the toolbar to create a new AspectJ project.
