Eclipse Server doesn't recognize the tomcat endorsed directory [message #66870]

When I start my tomcat server with eclipse, the files in my
%apache_home%/common/endorsed are not recognized and as a result, I get a

error even though I have the xml-apis.jar file in the endorsed
directory. If I start my server outside of eclipse, it works fine.

Is there somewhere else to put endorsed files so that it works with eclipse?

Hi,

Support for java.endorsed.dirs has been added to the Tomcat support and
dropped to HEAD. It will be in this week's integration build. In the future,
please open up a bugzilla so that we can track the problem.
