I had used Fedora linux with Eclipse for a while. Then I left the application turn out for a few days without using it. After about 5 days, I go back and use it, my source code files are gone. The directory of the source code is still there but more than 70% of the files are gone. Currently, the Eclipse is still able to run, but I notice the executable file of the Eclipse in the folder that I saved is also missing.

Previously, I also observe the same problem. However, it happened when I deleted the project for the project explorer side. My source code files are gone when I delete the project from the screen of Eclipse IDE.

Are my source code gone or it is hidden somewhere?

Now my eclipse application folder only have "configuration" folder, "plugins" folder and icon.xpm. I do not understand where did all the files goes. I checked the trash it is not there.
