IReportDocument.getGlobalVariables() deprecated [message #666637] |

Hi all,
IReportDocument.getGlobalVariables() is deprecated, but there is no description of a workaround.
what is the proposed way of extracting global variables from a rptdocument?
in our scenario we have to run a report several times (without rendering) using some results of a previous run in the next run.
the easiest way seemed to me to put it in global vars and extract them using the aforementioned method.
it actually works fine, it is just that I don't find an alternative to the deprecated method in case it will disappear in a later version...
cheers,
nils

Nils,
Can you open a bug for this? Please post back the number as well.
There are other ways to get the globals out but they are complex and not
user friendly.
