Query:
---------
The query is related to license management strategy provided by the eclipse framework.
Need to know the details about how to apply licensing scheme on the eclipse plug-in that is created by my team.
Analysis done:
-------------------
I have used jasper assistant eclipse plug-in which has the licensing applied on it. It has certain duration period after which it's license gets expired and prompts for license key purchasing. Also, i have gone through some articles encountered while google searching: EasyLicenser, License Management Solution 1.0.0.201104092214. But could not find the download link for license management solution yet and could not reach to the concrete route for how to apply such licensing schemes for my plug-in. So that when our plug-in users install our plug-in, should get prompt for purchasing licensed copy of it and till then can have plug-in of trial version and other such schemes.
Also, i have came across the SourceForge.net, where it is conveyed that you need to submit your product code. But this is not possible for my plug-in.
I am still in the process of finding the way of achieving this.
The quick response will be appreciated.
Thanks & Regards,
Nitu

There's nothing built into the platform to support licensing, and as far
as I know none of the Eclipse.org projects touch on that subject.
I used to work at a company that built Eclipse plugins and RCP
applications, and we had to build our own licensing mechanism based on a
commercial license management product; we were unable to find any simple
or Eclipse-specific solution.
