Including two Features in one archive [message #665961] Mon, 18 April 2011 07:40
Eclipse UserFriend
Hello all,

I am developing a set of eclipse plugins which are packed together into a single feature and exported as a zip archive.

Now i create some new Plugins, some of them using extension points of plugins of the first feature. I´d like to make the installation of this new plugins optional, so i added them to another feature.

To export both features, i open the feature export wizard, select both features and define the target archive.

But when i try to install the features only one of them (the older one) is selectable for installation.

I tried different combinations of including one feature into the other, one of resulted in both plugins installed, but i could not exclude one plugin from installation.

Can anybody help me with this topic?

I am developing with helios for galileo.

Regards,
David
