I'm a long time Komodo Edit user and I've recently made the switch to Eciplse for PHP Developers and I'm having difficulty find particular feature in Eclipse that I've come accustomed to in Komodo...

-In Komodo you can check the color of a color hex code by holding the Ctrl key and your cursor over the code - is this possible in Eclipse?

-Komodo's version of content assist automatically appears when entering something like a new CSS attribute - I know I can press Ctrl + Space to bring it up, but can I make this act more like Komodo Edit?

-Komodo automatically closes curly braces '{}' can Eclipse? I know Ecplipse closes other things link quotes and parentheses.

I know more things will come to me, but that's all I can think of for now. These things may seem small but I sure many of you understand how accustomed and almost dependent to features like these a developer can become.

Also, can anyone suggest any good plugins for me? I mostly develop in PHP, JS and AJAX, of course I write a lot of HTML and CSS and use MySQL.

Lastly, I haven't yet setup the debugger and I've had issues with this in the past - could anyone suggest a easy to follow guide for me? I'm working on a new windows dev machine so I'll probably setup WAMP to run my localhost.

Thanks for any help, I've looked around for all of this but it's hard to return applicable results when you are googling such specific questions.

No, there's no such feature that I'm aware of.

In the Eclipse Preferences, select PHP > Editor > Content Assist, and
then make sure the option "Enable auto activation" is enabled.

See Preferences > PHP > Editor > Typing.

Open Help > Install New Software, select Helios from the "Work with"
list, and then look in the Web, XML, and Java EE category. You'll find
"JavaScript Development Tools," "Web Page Editor," and "Eclipse Web
Developer Tools" (among others).
