[Teneo] Using Hibernate Envers with Teneo [message #659653] Mon, 14 March 2011 21:32 Go to next message

Hello,

Is it possible to use Hibernate Envers with Teneo? I saw this post from 2008 and I was wondering if anything has changed since then? If not, is there any other library that you would recommend to use with Teneo to implement auditing?

Thank you,
Nikita

Hi Nikita,
The answer is still the same. I have no other library but adding auditing to Hibernate is not very difficult either imo.
You can catch all relevant events using the Hibernate Interceptor concept. Note that you need to override the
EMFInterceptor and use the Teneo extension mechanism to tell Teneo to use your custom implementation (the extension
point is the EMFInterceptor class name).
