Displaying a feature License by default [message #659355] Sat, 12 March 2011 13:07

In Eclipse 3.5, installing a new feature would result in the license for the feature being displayed automatically as you click through the install wizard.

In Eclipse 3.6, licenses on update are grouped together, e.g.:

http://help.eclipse.org/helios/topic/org.eclipse.platform.doc.user/whatsNew/images/p2-license.png

I like this, but it means that when a user tries to install my feature, they must click the license name on the left hand side of the wizard in order to display it.

This isn't ideal as it means they can accept the license without ever viewing it.

Is it possible to somehow override this behaviour? If so, can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks!
David.
