File-based Sub-projects on Eclipse [message #655031] Fri, 18 February 2011 00:09 Go to next message

Hey everyone, I hope this is on the right forum, if not feel free to move to the correct one.

I'm using the newest Eclipse Helios with PDT for a big project. The project has all the MVC files together on the same directory with templates and style sheets on other directories with subdirectories, and changing the project structure is not an option.

I would like to known if there is a plugin or a way on Eclipse to group some of these files as subprojects or even a new project on the same folder with the main project on the include path. So I would select a group of related files and work only with them.

Depending on what you want to do you have two choices:
1) use working sets to group things
2) create the projects in Eclipse and add linked or/and virtual folders
pointing to the directories on disk
