Hello,

currently i'm trying to build a class diagram editor on top of the eclipse uml2 metamodel. One of my requirements is that each package contained in the uml model is refined by exactly one class diagram, which leads to lots of diagram files each of wich representing a cutout of the underlying domain model. At the moment i'm looking for a way in GMF to reference graphical elements from different diagram files. This is needed, in case Relationship (Inheritance, Association and so on) between classes of different packages exist.

So my question is: Can this be achieved in GMF? And if yes, how? Smile

Thanks.

Regards,
Thomas
