Hello,

I just read this page : http://wiki.eclipse.org/FAQ_When_should_I_use_refreshLocal%3 F , and this specific line :
Quote:
Some operating systems have callback mechanisms that send notifications when there are changes to particular sections of the file system, but this support doesn't exist on all operating systems that Eclipse runs on.

My questions are :
- Does a feature is implemented in Eclipse to manage this when file system support it ?
- And, what are the OS using this kind of file system ?

Thanks for all !

You can enable the Preferences setting: General > Workspace > Refresh
Automatically. Note that it might have an impact on performace, since it
will be continuously monitoring file system changes.

Hi,

Thanks for the anwser. I tried this option before to post, but it doesn't appear to work (I still have out of sync files). I'm using Win XP.
