Hi,

does anyone out there know of something like the p2 Director that would
update an existing installation as is? I know you can specify IUs to
uninstall and install in the same run, thus causing them to be updated,
but I'm looking for something that would let me update the product w/out
having to spell out the IUs.

Currently I use a modified DirectorApplication to get that done, but I'm
wondering if something like it already exists or is on the roadmap.

Thanks!

There has been a recent discussions on p2-dev mailinglist about a
"synchronize" for RCP apps - check out that mailing list, it may be what
you are interested in.
