I've followed the instructions given in the STICKY about specifying the JVM and I believe I have correctly configured it into the ini file. However whenever I try to start up eclipse it complains that it cannot find the jvm.dll file (even though the it is showing the correct pathname). Any ideas?

I have just downloaded the Java EE IDE, prior to this I was successfully using the standard Java IDE.

Please paste your eclipse.ini in your question.

Note that you need a JDK and not a mere JRE (JVM). If you like, peruse
