Hi all,

Google could provide me with a satisfactory answer if it would be possible to run an already workbench generated plugin on RCP without regeneration.

I mean by means of rewiring the GMF runtime dependencies somehow ?!

Thanks in advance

Hi,

clearly I don't know.

It would be really better to regenerate code. Why don't you want to regenrate code?

But the only way that I see is to generate the RCP code and make a diff with your generated plugin code.

thanks for Your reply,

the idea is to have a plugin or feature that can both be bundled as part of an RCP and IDE...

My understanding is that an RCP does not have a workbench and therefore could not use file editor input to init an editor part which is how it works with an IDE ?!

I mean it would be nice if a generated plugin could be parmeterized depending on the packaging ?!

Cheers
