I see. But when I tried even against RC1, it does not work.

It keeps on saying whatever is not a function. Even my classes are in
WEB-INF\lib\myclasses.jar. I tried to put them as individual classes too in
WEB-INF\classes. It didn't work ! Any idea what I missed ?

I was having the same problem so I searched the web and found a blog with
the solution. Read this
http://tools.osmosis.gr/blog/archives/2005/06/birt_and_objec t.html and
follow the steps under the Preview section. I needed to restart Eclipse
after copying the classes before it worked.

Is there a future enhancement so that BIRT will automatically pick up
classes in the current project so they don't have to be copied under the
viewer plugin?
