howto use stuff in "binary" folder of equinox SDK 3.6 [message #644218]

After extract the equinox SDK 3.6, there's a binary folder,
lots of files in it such as:

org.eclipse.equinox.executable_root.carbon.macosx.ppc_3.4.1. R36x_v20100823-7M7K7JF90dnJ-WLf3cf4yi
org.eclipse.equinox.executable_root.carbon.macosx.x86_3.4.1. R36x_v20100823-7M7K7JF90dnJ-WLf3cf4yi
......

Question is:

what does these files for?

how could I use these files?

any answers would be appreciated.

The ZIP file is a p2 repository. It may only be used in a Target
Platform or when assembling installations using p2 (command line, Ant
tasks).

There is quite a bit about the p2 command line and Ant tasks in the
Eclipse help. Additional information is in the wiki.
