[Acceleo] Intermittent Bug: Nonsense compiler errors that disappear after file is touched [message #644203] Thu, 09 December 2010 16:41 Go to next message

I've seen this problem happen about three or four separate times in the past few weeks. It might correlate to updating the meta-model and re-generating the editor.

What happens is that the compiler reports errors. In this case No public template "xyz" found.

If I touch (update the modification time) of the file without changing the code, the error disappears.

Is this a known bug?

Thanks,
Jeff

Hi,

This is a known bug. Errors cannot be completely trusted unless the file is saved.

To clarify, these are mtl file errors that didn't occur during editing the mtl file (the file hadn't been touched for days.)

Thanks,
