Hi all,
I'd like to give all interested parties a short update on the state of the Jubula project.
Since you can see this newsgroup/forum it's obvious that the project has been provisioned. We are now doing administrative work like updating project meta-data, planning the web page and filling the wiki pages.
We are also working really hard on the initial contribution (i.e. the source code) of Jubula. We hope to submit it early January 2011. Most work we do right now is replacing third party libraries which already IP approved versions.
Our biggest change to the code was the replacement of Hibernate with JPA and the switch to EclipseLink as a JPA provider. We are done with this part and we are really pleased how (relatively) painless this went along. Kudos to JPA and the EclipseLink folks!
