Hi experts,

I need a record and capture GUI testing tool to test my GMF based editor.
Can anyone help or advice?
Does anyone have a previous experience with such tools for a GMF based editor ?

Thanks

Hi,

SWTBot has support for GEF/GMF editors. However, there is no recorder, but there is a very high-level API to write tests that mimic the user actions (dragndrop, click, and so on...).

Hi,

It's better later than never. Q7 testing tool has Record-and-Replay feature and it's perfect for testing GUI of GEF/GMF editors.

If you have any specific question on "how and where", feel free to ask!
