IBM is pleased to announce the new Rational ClearQuest Result Set adapter
for Eclipse that provides Eclipse and IBM Rational ClearQuest users with an
integrated defect and change tracking solution in the Eclipse shell. Some of
the features of this new integration include:
* Log on to an existing ClearQuest database
* Select and run ClearQuest queries in Eclipse
* View the details for ClearQuest records
* Submit new defects directly from Eclipse
* Launch ClearQuest to perform additional defect tracking tasks
This plugin will work with IBM Rational ClearQuest v2003 and Eclipse 2.0 or
later, running on Windows (NT 4.0, 2000 or XP Pro). The plugin can be
downloaded from the Rational Support Download Center at
http://www.rational.com/support/downloadcenter/addins/index. jsp (select the
Rational ClearQuest Plug-ins link after accepting the license agreement).
Please refer to the Readme file on the download page for further information
on supported software as well as installation instructions and other product
information.
With the addition of this new integration, Eclipse users now have a
complete, integrated software configuration management solution in the
Eclipse shell when combined with the existing IBM Rational ClearCase
integration. For more information on the existing Rational ClearCase
integration, refer to the Readme file at
http://www.rational.com/support/downloadcenter/addins/clearc ase/plugins/inde
