LibraryClasspathContainer available [message #63887] Sat, 21 June 2003 08:32 Go to next message

I'm posting this message, because the previous title was not very
descriptive.

In short, download a library classpathcontainer from the thread:
Multiple ClasspathContainers, Settings

You can add a folder in your javaproject settings
*goto: java build path->libraries->add library
*choose library folder.
*browse for a folder
*select/unselect search files in subfolders

I've seen some refreshing problems I can't figure out. It happens sometimes
when you add and remove a library before pressing ok..

Have fun

It's clutters your project tree when having a lot of jars

For web applications, it's very handy to have a LibraryFolder on for example
docroot/WEB-INF/lib
because that's what the appserver will use.

There is a filter option in package & resource view, *.jar and they
are away of your sight.

Ah, thats true. Having same mechanism is good.

Yes, I've used that, but I found that I occasionally would like to check
some classes/resource inside the jars.

btw, the filter 'hide referenced libraries' seems to work good under
eclipse3.. Before it didn't hide every jarfile
