PHP Tasks [message #633861] Tue, 19 October 2010 12:04 Go to next message

Hi all, I am a relatively new user of Eclipse, so maybe I ask very dumb questions...
Using Eclipse PDT 20100218-1602 under Windows

For some reason, my task tags don't seem to get into the Tasks view... as though Eclipse never scans for them.
Is there a way to turn Task tag scanning on and off?
The only pointers I have been able to find tell me "use TODO, @todo etc to mark your tasks"

And on another note... is there a way to *search* this forum? I can't seem to find a way to search for text in posts...

Yours,

-Erik

Confirm your configuration of Task View first. Ensure 'Show'(All), 'Configure Contents', 'Preferences'.

Also, make sure
1) Preferences > PHP > Editor > Task Tags
2) Preferences > Validation > PHPTaskValidator (checked/enabled)
3) Project - Properties > PHP Task Tags
4) Project - Properties > Validation

And try
a) context-menu > Validate
b) Project > Clean

btw, it works well by default in normal circumstances.

I've been experiencing same difficulties. I'll be grateful if someone has some helpful info to sort it out. Thanks
