I'm using Eclipse Helios on both Windows and Linux (the latter is 64-bit installation), and I'm finding that, using the exact same approach, attaching the URL to a javadoc is not working for the Linux version. When I click the validate button it suggests that it is working, yet when I start coding I get the "This element has neither attached source nor attached javadoc" popup. In contrast, with the same setup the Windows version gives me the javadoc.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Please file a bug against JDT UI with steps to reproduce.
