Hi,

We are still using version 0.7.2 of the following plug-ins:
- Xtext Antlr Support
- TMF XTEXT SDK (Incubation)
- M2T XPAND SDK (Incubation)

But suddenly they seem to be disappeared from the Itemis updatesite (http://download.itemis.com/updates/releases)

Can 0.7.2 made available again? Or is there an alternative updatesite?

Regards,
Johan.

Hello Johan,
0.7.2 release is archived.
You can still download it from archive.eclipse.org:

Xtext http://archive.eclipse.org/modeling/tmf/xtext/downloads/drop s/0.7.2/R200908120607/
Xpand http://archive.eclipse.org/modeling/m2t/xpand/downloads/drop s/0.7.2/R200908120436/
MWE http://archive.eclipse.org/modeling/emft/mwe/downloads/drops /0.7.2/R200908120417/

Best regards,
Dennis.

P.S.: I've reenabled Antlr 0.7.2 on http://download.itemis.com/updates/releases

Johan,
We've decided to move 0.7.2 Release files back to download.eclipse.org. Means you can
use the regular project download sites.

Regards,
Dennis.

Dennis,

Thanks for taking action.
But would you consider not to archive releases when they are still used by users?
Can you also re-enable 0.7.2 for the other plug-ins on the Itemis updatesite?

Regards,
Johan.

Sure. The only problem is to find out which version is still used Wink

Itemis update site is just a composite site, that link existing content from other update sites. The only exception is antlr support. So which plugins exactly do you mean?

Dennis,

The three above mentioned plug-ins, where previously installable by one install-action via the Itemis updatesite. But I guess it was made available as a composite updatesite.

I see that the other two 0.7.2 plug-ins are available via http://download.eclipse.org/releases/galileo.
So I can found them now, but need to use two updatesites to complete the installation. I can live with that, but one would be nicer Smile .

Regards,
Johan.

Hi Dennis

The URLs are supposed to be portable so that users are unaffected. I
think its the mirror query protocol that automatically migrates to
archive for non-mirrored downloads.

The relatively standard Modeling Download page, that I think Kenn set
up, (e.g. http://www.eclipse.org/modeling/mdt/downloads/?project=ocl)
shows both active and archive releases. You might consider adopting the
same look and feel as other projects.

I already noticed such a download category on the emf download site http://www.eclipse.org/modeling/emf/downloads/?#archives
I will definitly use this feature for archived releases, as soon we have some.

Regards,
Dennis.
