Hi we have the following queries regarding Birt

1.As you mentione in the previous post write your own servlet to run the reports . what is the advantage of doing this.
2. As When we run the reports it takes time to fetch the data
can we used caching if we use our own servlet to run the reports
3. What are the ways to improve the performance becuase using the birt viewer i got memory leak exception

Please help us to solve these queries

There is not any real advantage to writing your own servlet. The Viewer
has a lot of features. There should not be memory leak in the Viewer.
If there is we need to get a bug logged. Can you open one with how you
found it?
