We need to translate Papyrus diagram elements into Brazilian Portuguese. My question is which is the easiest way to do that? Just translating the UML.ecore model will do the work?

Thanks.

You should find all messages which you need to translate in "messages.properties" files in each Papyrus plugin.

Have a look at the eclipse internationalization process to know how to invoke your translated file instead of the original english file.
http://www.eclipse.org/articles/Article-Internationalization /how2I18n.html

If some user messages are hard coded in java files instead of being internationalized in these files, this is a bug.
If you see such langage specific strings, you may raise a bug, by preference regrouping all of them in a same bug (or in plugin separated bugs)
