Hi All,

Wondering if we can deploy the infocenter on mainframes and if there are implementations for mobile devices as well.

Thanks,
Shalini

Yes the infocenter can be deployed on mainframes. If the mainframe is running an OS that is one of Eclipse's supported platforms such as Linux, Solaris, AIX, HP/UX simply download the appropriate version of the Eclipse SDK.

If you have an OS not in this list you can still run an infocenter if you have a Web server that can launch a war file - search the Eclipse documentation for "war" for instructions on how to do this.

For mobile devices the same rules would apply - if it runs an OS that Eclipse supports launching an infocenter is straightforward, otherwise you need to install a Web server on the device and run from a war file.
