Remote Eclipse RCP Management + Equinox Incubator [message #623723]

Hi together,

I just stumbled across the wiki page of Remote Eclipse RCP Management
[1] and wondered how this is related to the Resource Monitoring project
in the Equinox Incubator [2]. I think both projects overlap in some way.
Are there any integration plans so the work isn't duplicated?
I'm really interested in having such a "remote management" for
Eclipse/RCP applications.

Benny,

The Remote Eclipse RCP Management work has been done to this point by
Eugen Reiswich.

I don't know whether Eugen has been watching/contributing to the Equinox
Incubator work.

As far as I (Scott) am concerned, we would be happy to use/work with the
Equinox incubator project. Seems like it would be a natural fit given
ECF's multi-transport nature, the use/integration of p2, and ECF remote
services in Remote Eclipse RCP Management, and ECF's impending move into
the runtime project.

RE: integration plans...they can begin now. Do you know who is leading
the Equinox incubator work?
