Hello,
I recently upgraded to Eclipse 3.5RC1 to be able to play with the Xtext
software, and noticed that the Jet editor provided with the m2t project
does not wor anymore (Exception when trying to open a .jet file).
Is anybody experienced or if aware of this issue (it seems that the jet
editor source have not been modified for quite some time) ?
Thanks in advance,
Steven

Hi,
we are experiencing the same problem after switching from Ganymede
to Galileo and installing the JET Editor + JET SDK from the
"install new software" menu. The stacktrace we get matches the one
Steven has already reported on bugzilla at
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=281619
Installing the All-In-One package with the JET Capabilities doesn't fix
the problem either. With this setup if we try to open a jet template it
will keep opening it with the text editor and if we force to open it
with the JET Editor (by selecting open with->others->JET Editor) the
editor will fail to load with the same NullPointerException reported
previously. Moreover the All-In-One package hides the "JET
Transformation" panel and the Capabilities from the Preference window.
We have already tried to replace the new JET Editor (version 1.0.0) with
the last one working for us (version 0.9.1.v200901261702) but the
plugin just won't get loaded.
Is there any workaround or quickfix to get the old JET Editor
up and running in order to avoid editing the jet templates with the text
editor?
Thanks in advance,
Diego Frei
