I already tried extending MessageContentMergeViewer, but found out that
tabs can not be added by simply subclassing and overwriting methods.

Can you give me any hints to extend the editor re-using the text compare
function of eclipse? Possibly this function is interesting for other
users, so it could be integrated in the EMF Compare plugin?
