Missing PropertyProvider [message #62287] Fri, 13 October 2006 12:04 Go to next message

I just upgraded from GMF v2 M1 to the latest nightly build, which I
assume is close to the M2 version (to be released today I see on the
project plan?). Anyway, the issue I have is that in M1 I used my own
PropertyProvider to override the default provider in the generated
diagram plugin using
org.eclipse.gmf.runtime.common.ui.services.properties.proper tiesProviders.

This seems to now not be supported and instead the generator now creates
a ..sheet package with generated property sections etc.

What is the suggested mechanism to override the PropertyProvider now ?

Thanks

PropertyProvider that was generated prior to M2 was not *overriding
default*, it was about *adding* few properties. In that sense nothing
changed in M2 - you can still add your own properties with properties
provider if you need so.
