How to force refresh of the property sheet [message #616904]

The designer sets a property. My setter for this property sets other
properties, but the changes in these properties are not seen in the
property sheet. (This may be because the properties were already set by
the designer (the > appears).)

How can I force the property sheet to refresh itself so as to show the new
values of the properties that I set programmatically?
