Multiple inputs from the client while the process is running [message #615814] Thu, 01 May 2008 16:13

Hi,
I'll try to describe my problem the better I can. I'm making a process
that represents a defined activity. I made two pools: one for the Process
itself and one for the client. The Process needs, while running, some
inputs from the client. To do this in Intalio|BPMS Designer I made the
client pool Not executable. What I want to do is make an executable
client. The pool contains: an empty start connected to a task that sends a
message to the Process pool and 5 other tasks not connected to anything
which represents the client's inputs the Process need to make decisions at
some points in his flow. Before making a decision the Process sends a
message to one of these 5 tasks in the client pool and the chosen task
answers back. The connection between the task in the Process and the task
in the Client are sequence messages.
I right clicked on the client pool and chose to make it executable. I get
this error: The executable pool Client must not have more than one
starting task. If I connect the client's tasks I get this error: The first
task null of an executable pool must receive a message. and I always
receive this message even if I remove the empty start and put a message
start. Can you help me?
Cheers

Stella
